The Highways and Transport Service of Westmorland and Furness Council is looking for motivated and friendly individuals to join us as Senior Highway Network Technicians. This is an excellent career step for candidates with experience in highways, transportation or construction backgrounds, looking to join a large and thriving organisation. It may also be suitable for candidates from a non-highways background who have transferable skills, matched with great aptitude and a willingness to learn.

In this role, you will work as part of the South Lakeland area highways team, preparing, designing and processing highway improvement and maintenance projects, as well as undertaking inventory collection. This may include carrying out activities relating to surveys, design, specification, and data collection.
