Job Title:Quality Assurance Coordinator

Salary Range: PO2 £38,133 to £46,206 Depending on Skills and Experience

Full Time Permanent , 36 hours per week

Location: Wandsworth Town Hall and Twickenham Civic Centre

Objective of role

The Richmond and Wandsworth Registration Service provides a vital role in marking significant life events, including births, deaths, marriages, civil partnerships and citizenship, supporting community wellbeing and inclusion.

This role will provide opportunity to drive the development of modern, innovative and effective registration services to ensure that Richmond and Wandsworth meet all statutory requirements and deliver a quality of service which exceeds the expectations of all our customers.

Can you support and advise registration officers on complex matters, develop and deliver tailored training programmes for Richmond and Wandsworth register offices, implement effective processes to assure statutory compliance and support the Head of Service in identifying and creating new ranges of statutory and non-statutory enterprises?

About the role

Quality Assurance.You will use your knowledge and experience of civil registration and skilled customer service to support the Registration Service in meeting its statutory requirements and customer expectations through efficient and innovative processes and by developing proficient registration officers.

Experience.You will have proven experience as an advanced practitioner in civil registration and proven accomplishment in delivering excellent customer service.

Service Development.You will contribute to improving, shaping and growing the Registration Service, embracing digital technology and creative solutions to develop effective, relevant and resilient services.

Leadership and ManagementYou will be a part of the management team and lead the sessional registration officers, ensuring their ongoing professional development and excellent standards of performance

Professional DevelopmentYou will be committed to personal learning and professional growth taking responsibility to grow your own professional knowledge and skills and foster a culture of continuous learning within the Service.

Essential Qualifications, Skills and Experience

Advanced knowledge of civil registration, public protection and counter-fraud requirements and the delivery of registration services

Strong leadership skills and ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team

Proven experience of collaborative working to deliver positive outcomes

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Commitment to developing and improving the quality of services provided
