We are currently recruiting for a Street Scene Technical Officer to work closely with colleagues within this frontline service by carrying out regular inspections of Street Scene assets, such as parks/open spaces and public conveniences and also providing performance information for the service area, for example street cleanliness and grounds maintenance standards.  

The position is based at North Bridge Depot, Doncaster; however a large proportion of the work requires travelling around the borough whilst carrying out inspections in all weather conditions throughout the year.   

We are looking for a hardworking and conscientious person to work in a busy environment, providing an essential and valuable service to the team and our customers. The ideal candidate will have experience in a customer facing service, be well organised and practically minded, have the ability to work outside in all weather conditions and to deal with small repairs and cleansing duties as they arising whilst out on site.  They will actively promote the council’s ‘This is My Doncaster’ campaign and contribute to our vision of providing a cleaner and greener environment for all.   

A full driving licence is required for this position.
