Mansfield District Council are looking to recruit a Heavy Goods Vehicle Apprentice to join our team. The successful candidate will assist in the maintenance, inspection and repair of the Council’s heavy goods vehicle fleet to DVSA MOT standard. It is a varied position, and the candidate will be trained in all aspects of the role. The position is based at the Hermitage Lane depot in Mansfield and will include some shift pattern work from 06:00am until 16:30pm Monday to Friday (over 37 hours).

The candidate will study for their Level 2/3 apprenticeship with Remit College, based in Derby, and you will be responsible for your own travel arrangements to the college for block weeks (on average one week per month).
