We are currently recruiting for a Highways Construction Supervisor in Highways Operations to supervise a number and range of operational teams within the service and external contractors to ensure that work is carried out in a safe, timely, efficient, financially viable manner to specification and quality.

The successful applicant will be a self-motivated, well organised person who can readily communicate with engineers, managers, contractors, and the public alike. Reliable and professional with a customer focussed approach you will need the ability to work across departments and with external partners to provide a consistent service.

You should be competent in working on the highway, in dealing with traffic management and have a great understanding and knowledge of construction related health and safety issues.

Knowledge and experience of being able to manage sites of a Highways nature on a day-to-day basis is essential and will be discussed at interview.
