Nottinghamshire County Council’s is seeking to recruit a Programmes Manager to join its Local Transport Plans & Programme Development Team.

The successful applicant will assist in the managing of the highway and transport contribution to the County Council, local regional and national strategy development, and will manage the development, commissioning, delivery and evaluation of the County Councils capital and revenue highway transport programmes.

You will be working with Via EM Ltd. – the County Council’s own highways contractor, so a commitment to collaborative working and collective problem solving is essential.

The team is seeking to develop its internal capacity; therefore you will need to have a positive attitude towards helping junior officers achieve their full potential.

Although Highways experience is preferred, applicants with appropriate transferable skills will also be considered. A hybrid working arrangement is available with this role.
