This is an exciting opportunity to join our Highway Operations Team, where we aim to deliver business and technical support functions to the highest standard across the Service.

The key purpose of this post is to support the Highways Operations Officer by providing:

Detailed workload plans for Highway Operations Team in order to:- 

  • Ensure completion of all highway works within timescales required.
  • Ensure work teams are programmed in an effective manner.
  • Minimise disruption to all road users within the District.
  • Provide a link between the Operations Team and the TMA coordinator(NRASWA)

Specifically, 

  • Produce control documents such as management/finance reports, Gantt charts, monthly estimated spend statistics by budget area and work types for Operations Planning and Progress/Performance meetings.
  • Help prioritise identified works against available resources that ensures individual gang skills are used effectively and budgets are fully spent.
