We have a fantastic opportunity within our Technical Support team to join a front-facing service where the work spans multiple legislations. 

The Technical Team oversees a wide range of mandated, regulated, and discretionary functions, collaborating closely with Town & Parish councils to customise services for local needs. We manage the adoption of public spaces, amenity land, and facilities, while also handling GIS (mapping system) data for amenity land and service delegation. 

As a Technical Support Officer, you will be managing the burial bookings process, coordinating grave allocations, and maintaining accurate records to meet legal responsibilities. Your responsibilities include assisting the public with grave purchases, overseeing cemetery works, authorising monument installations, and administering vehicle access applications. Also, you will handle customer queries, provide technical and administrative support, and manage payments and invoices. 

We are looking for a candidate who has excellent communication & IT skills, as well as being a strong planner with the ability to prioritise. If you thrive in working under pressure and are methodical and accurate in recording information, then we would love to hear from you.
