We are passionate about Doncaster - it’s a great place to live, do business and visit.

We have plenty to shout about – Doncaster is the UK’s best connected location, we have many major developments in the pipeline, a vibrant urban centre with a thriving arts and cultural scene, sport and leisure attractions, wonderful green spaces and a fascinating heritage.  We firmly believe, as do our partners, that Doncaster is the place to be with a bright future and ambitions ahead of it.  But don’t just take our word for it – anyone joining the council, can look forward to expanding their knowledge and skills in a dynamic, creative and nurturing environment while truly making a difference to the communities we serve.

An experienced Domestic Abuse Team Manager is required to join our Domestic Abuse Service Management team. The successful candidate will have responsibility for managing the Doncaster Multi Agency Risk Assessment Conference (MARAC) the Domestic Abuse Hub and Gypsy Roma Traveller liaison support worker.

The successful candidate will manage DA Hub staff working on the helpline, administration assistants responsible for coordination and administration of referrals into the service, the MARAC and the Gypsy Roma Traveller Liaison worker. There will be a requirement to Chair the Doncaster MARAC meeting on a rota basis and MARAC Steering Group.

Our staff work tirelessly to support victims of domestic abuse across Doncaster. The service is currently undergoing a restructure and in addition to administration, helpline and the Gypsy Roma Traveller Liaison, there will two teams of Independent Domestic Violence Advocates providing support to help people improve their personal safety, leave abusive relationships and rebuild their lives.  The Domestic Abuse Service also delivers training and awareness, media campaigns and coordinates Domestic Homicide Reviews.
