To provide a high quality, comprehensive and efficient maintenance, inspection, repair and test service, ensuring that the Council has a fully functional fleet which includes a diverse range of specialist vehicles, ground care equipment, hand held equipment and road going plant including electric and hybrid.
All work must be compliant with statutory legislation, manufactures guidance and internal Council policies and procedures.
Working closely with the Workshop Foreman to ensure vehicle availability and productivity meets the frontline operational needs of the Councils services whilst helping to control fleet maintenance costs within the budgetary requirements.
