HGV Mechanic

County Transport are seeking to recruit a highly motivated Heavy Goods Vehicle Mechanic to join our team and deliver vehicle maintenance and repair services to our customers. The role will be based at our Brimington Workshop (Chesterfield).

Working to high standards, you will be required to maintain and repair a diverse fleet of motor vehicles including: motor cars, minibuses, light goods vehicles, Heavy Goods Vehicles, trailers and engineering plant.

The successful candidate will hold relevant technical qualifications and a valid full Driving Licence with a minimum of category B.  

The working hours are Monday to Thursday 8.00am – 4.00pm and Friday 8.00am – 3.30pm.

Due to the nature of the work undertaken, the successful candidate will be required to undertake and pass a police security NPPV2 vetting check.
