We have a great opportunity for a full time social worker who has experience in working with children and families and court directed work and who is passionate and creative when working with children and their families. This busy team is very experienced, highly supportive, friendly and enthusiastic about what they do.

The successful applicant must have good communication skills and show professional curiosity. They must have experience of completing assessments and can adhere to court directed time scales.

Main accountabilities of the role:

The successful applicant will work with family and friends within a child’s network, to support, upskill and assess their ability to care for a connected child. They will complete a range of work that will feed into assessments such as viability, Form C fostering assessments and Special Guardianship assessments, supporting where appropriate children to reside within their network. An understanding of the fostering minimum standards and Special Guardian regulations would be a benefit, as well as experience of analysis and report writing.
