Electoral Services is a challenging and ever-changing environment, and we are looking for a candidate who is motivated and has a positive attitude to change.

As a member of the team, you will actively participate in the day-to-day operation of the service in all processes associated with maintaining the electoral register throughout the year ensuring that all statutory requirements are met.  You will have a good understanding of information governance practices and handling sensitive personal information.  In addition, you will have excellent ICT skills and verbal and written communication skills and work with a high degree of accuracy.

You will also play a key role in the planning and delivery of local national elections and referendums, providing administrative support and leading on key activities for which you should have considerable knowledge of electoral processes.

The post holder should be personable and committed individual; organised, flexible and can work as part of a team to meet tight deadlines; with the ability to plan and organise their own workloads.

There will be a requirement to work additional hours which will include evening and weekends during election periods, and on occasion during other key electoral activities to meet the demands of the service.
