Three exciting opportunities have arisen to join our Traffic Regulation Order team in the Network & Traffic Management Unit, delivering a programme of Traffic Regulation Orders for both moving and stationary traffic to improve the County’s highway network. Expertise in relevant legislation and regulations is required and experience of area wide parking scheme design and consultation (RPZ/ CPZ) is desirable.

Working closely with the Parking, Highways Development Management and Highways teams, you will need to have relevant engineering experience as well as proven experience in stakeholder engagement and detailed scheme design via AutoCAD and the use of various mapping systems, in line with relevant regulations and guidance.

Knowledge in sustainable transport schemes with emphasis on encouraging cycling, walking, active travel and use of electric scooters, EV charging, public transport, plus general traffic management is of interest.
