Now we’re looking for a Yard Supervisor to join our Boroughbridge depot.  Working hand-in-hand with Management, you will to maximise the efficiency of the workshop and be part of the safe operating environment, controlling stock movement and ensuring all depot traffic is coordinated.

Your duties

This role will provide vital support to the branch operations and will be yard based, supervising and assisting with various duties in conjunction with the loading and unloading of lorries to ensure timely delivery of our pumps and associated equipment in time to meet our customers’ expectations.  Ability to be a Team player and ability to work varying hours in all weather is key for this position.

Other responsibilities will include assisting with loading and unloading of vehicles, ensuring the yards and workshop and clean and organised at all times and communicating clearly ETAs, missing or damaged items with colleagues.

Previous work history within a similar environment will be an advantage in this role and valid UK driving licence will be required.  We are looking for someone who is prepared to undertake any relevant training and qualifications in order to perform this role at their best.

We are pleased to offer a salary from £29,162 to £31,540, Pension scheme, 24 days holiday + Bank Holidays, (accumulating an additional day each year up to 5 years).  Comprehensive PPE is provided to everyone joining the business.
