Co-production Programme Manager (12 month Fixed Term)

Join our forward-thinking approach

Strength in people. Strength in communities. Strength in diversity.

Are you passionate about the voice and influence of people who use services in shaping local provision and policies?

Do you want to work in an innovative learning organisation?

Our vision is for all adults living in the Royal Borough of Greenwich to live well. To help achieve this, we are developing our approach to co-production (working together). We want to join up and actively work together more with local residents who use Health and Adults Services to help shape and improve them. Working in this way means both people responsible for services and those who use them can make vital contributions to improving quality of life for local people and communities.

This fixed term post will take a lead role in the development and delivery of our co-production approach, as part of our Forward Thinking Delivery Team. This will be supported and championed by senior leaders across the department.

The successful candidate will have specialist understanding and experience of co-production and/or involvement theory and practice. They will be an inclusive and adaptable communicator, with the skills and sensitivity to build and support effective relationships and partnerships.

Strategic and creative; they will also be pragmatic and able to put vision into clearer practice through competent project management approaches. They will be able to engage and motivate a diverse range of stakeholders, including local residents who use our services, along the journey.

Ideally they will have relevant lived experience through directly using health and social care services or caring for someone that has or does. They will need to demonstrate evidence and expertise of past successful engagement working with service users/carers.

Hybrid working will be considered, as well as a job share arrangement. The post is fixed term for 1 year.

Royal Borough of Greenwich reserves the right to close any vacancy earlier than the advertised closing date should there be a high volume of applications received.
