Are you an experienced Asset Management professional looking for your next challenge? We are seeking an experienced and talented Highways Asset Engineer professional to be responsible for the successful delivery of Hackney's statutory and legal obligations in regards to the Street Gazetteer and Asset Management areas.

You will be responsible for the coordination and delivery of all highway asset management workstreams, embedding compliance in all areas, which also contributes to the achievement of the Council’s corporate objectives.

Working with the Group Engineer, and officers within Streetscene, you will also assist in creating a vision for the team which delivers innovative, cost effective and imaginative solutions which are based on best practice and which deliver high quality, successful, and customer focussed outcomes.

You will be experienced in dealing with highways asset systems and gazetteers, along with the use of data in spreadsheets, and geographical information systems, as well as a good knowledge of highway asset management principles and policies. You will have enthusiasm to make a difference and be flexible, with the ability to engage with the public and employees at all levels.
