Street Services - improving residents’ lives

Help keep Greenwich clean and green - kick start your career with a role in Street Services in the Royal Borough of Greenwich. We have a variety of roles within our service to consider and apply for.

Street Services provides a highly important service to all the borough’s residents and visitors from sweeping roads to collecting and emptying household and businesses waste bins. This is a vital front-line service and has a huge impact on residents and the community. This advert is for the following opportunities:

  • Waste Operatives: This role involves collecting and emptying household and businesses waste bins.  You will work as part of a team of three and will work anywhere in the borough.  The service operates two shifts (AM and PM) between the hours of 6am and 8pm. Starting salary £22,575 + allowances
