Job Details

Street Services provides a highly important service to all the borough's residents and visitors from sweeping roads to collecting and emptying household and businesses waste bins. This is a vital front-line service and has a huge impact on residents and the community. This advert is for the following opportunities:

  • Driver Chargehand (HGV): This role involves managing a team of 2 or more Waste Operatives making sure that scheduled waste collections are carried out. The service operates two shifts (AM and PM) between the hours of 6am and 8pm. You must have a clean HGV driver's licence, as well as a current CPC card. Starting salary £23,400 per year (inclusive of contractual overtime) + allowances
