Do you enjoy working outdoors, helping people and have great communication skills? Do you have excellent customer service skills and enjoy being active?
Our Civil Enforcement Officers are the eyes and ears of the local community, patrolling across Staffordshire and Stoke on Trent, keeping traffic moving and people safe, providing advice to residents, businesses and visitors, whilst enforcing traffic regulation orders fairly, accurately and consistently. You will play a significant role in reducing traffic congestion, and improving air quality through the enforcement of parking restrictions.
Your day will be spent mostly outside, in all weathers and you will be dealing with members of the public face to face, so customer service must be something you enjoy, sometimes in difficult situations. Basic computing skills would be an advantage, as you will be using a hand held device daily.
You will be required to work 37 hours per week across a 6 week rotating shift pattern covering Monday to Saturday. Shifts vary so flexibility for the role is essential.
A full driving licence is essential.
This vacancy is for our team based in Stafford. You will be working from the depot on Sandyford Street, Stafford.
