The Council-run South Essex Parking Partnership (SEPP) led by Chelmsford City Council, is an organisation which brings together all street-based parking services in South Essex and are currently recruiting.
We are currently seeking customer focused individuals with experience of working with the public and hold a full driving licence to join our team of Civil Enforcement Officers operating in the city of Chelmsford based at the Civic Centre.
Working together with other Civil Enforcement Officers, day to day activities will include patrolling parking areas to ensure the safe and free flow of traffic. This being achieved by working with, and providing information to members of the public on parking and other related issues along with the issuing of penalty change notices where appropriate.

All training, equipment and uniform will be provided. A starting salary of £21,240 per annum is offered which then raises to £22,656 after one years’ service (pro rata for part time applicants).
