Highways Network Engineer (Operations) - Penrith
We have an exciting opportunity for the right person to work within the challenging and ever-changing landscape of Highway Operations.
Successful applicants will need to be able to lead a multi-disciplinary team of operational staff delivering a wide range of construction activities, ensuring they meet given standards, timescales, and targets. The role will also hold the responsibility for the construction of highway improvement and maintenance projects.
It will require close liaising with the Highways Operations Manager, the wider management team in Highways and Transportation, and relevant stakeholders, as well as the line management of the operational staff. The role is based within the Skirsgill Highways Depot in Penrith but will require regular site visits to assess and ascertain progress of works.
