We are currently seeking a Director of Place and Communities who can deliver on these ambitions, you will be a strong team player and member of the Senior Leadership Team. You will work closely with Members, employees and partners and have the ability to build successful and effective partnerships.

You will provide strategic and operational leadership across a range of key services including Environment and Neighbourhoods, Planning and Economic Growth including, Regulatory Services, Place and Wellbeing, including Leisure and Community Safety.

Some of your key priorities will include: the development of our local plan, the delivery of our transformational regeneration programmes including a new Leisure Centre, the Future High Streets Fund and Towns Fund programmes.

You will possess a demonstrable record of senior leadership and able to evidence senior management experience, gained in one or more of the key service areas. An excellent understanding of communities and people is crucial.
