Join the new Supported Housing and Temporary Accommodation Team

Brent is a tremendously vibrant London borough where the iconic arch of Wembley Stadium dominates the skyline. Brent’s diversity is evident to all who visit our borough and our long history of ethnic and cultural diversity has created a place that is truly unique and valued by those who live and work here.

The council is pursuing a far-reaching transformation agenda that better meets the needs of our community so it is an exciting time to join us.

The Post

You will be required to carry out Health and Safety inspections within the buildings, establish and monitor processes for carrying out basic repairs and liaising with Council contractors for more complex jobs to a high standard.

We want this service to be a personable service and you will need to work with vulnerable residents to make their house feel like a home.

Working closely with the development team will be essential to succeeding in the role as you will need to advocate on behalf of residents needs at all stages of the new build process and ensure homes are handed over so as a team you are ready to mobilise new blocks from day one.

The Person
