Can you see yourself playing a key role in helping people to stay in their temporary accommodation?

If so - we have the perfect role for you in the Housing Services Operations Team. The income maximisation team is responsible for preventing debt and taking preventative action for our homeless households in temporary accommodation in both Richmond and Wandsworth

The income maximisation team is looking for an enthusiastic and committed manager who can support a team of 9 officers. We need them to work collaboratively with other teams and services, particularly when managing complex cases.

You will need to have excellent customer skills, and able to give welfare debt advice to our homeless families. The officers need to be passionate in preventing homelessness as well as coming up with solutions to help families to ensure they pay their regular charges.

For an informal discussion about the role please contact Suzanne Radford, Housing Services Operations Coordinator on Suzanne.Radford@richmondandwandsworth.gov.uk and Ghazell Nasir, Head of Housing Services on ghazell.nasir@richmondandwandsworth.gov.uk

We recognise the importance of a good balance between work and home life so we do everything we can to accommodate flexible working including, working from home, compressed hours, job shares and other arrangements. Please just let us know in your application or at any stage throughout the process (and beyond) if these are options you’d like to explore. We also offer a generous holiday allowance of 39 paid days (pro rata) including bank holidays and a wide range of learning and development opportunities.

In addition, we offer a comprehensive range of staff benefits such as membership of the Local Government pension scheme, childcare vouchers, new technology scheme, interest-free loans on annual travel cards, discounts with many leisure activities, restaurants, shops and other establishments.
