International Business Relationship Manager
Hours: Full Time, 12 month Fixed Term

Here at our York, North Yorkshire Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) we support economic growth across the region, providing a range of services to make it simple for growing businesses to find suitable support to help them grow.
We have a fantastic opportunity, through our collaboration with the Department for International Trade (DIT) and NP11, for an International Business Relationship Manager to join our team of professionals, who can develop, organise and execute our business support strategy.
You will support growth and maximise engagement with International high growth businesses and monitor the impact of business support services over the short, medium and long term. You will also diagnoses the barriers to growth within a business and work with the business to develop a growth strategy that can take advantage of publicly and privately funded business support services and effectively maintain and retain existing customers by building long-term relationships. The post is externally funded through DIT, and is initially for a fixed term to 31 March 2022, with possibility of further extension based on performance. To be successful in this role you will need to have sales based or business relationship management experience and degree level education. You should have experience of working in a front facing customer service setting with the ability to demonstrate excellent communication skills at Senior Management level within large businesses. Be highly organised with effective time management skills. You must also have the ability to analyse and interpret management information and perform business diagnostics and have a proven track record in managing the range of business issues associated with periods of business growth and developing Business growth plans. It is essential you have excellent IT skills and experience in the use of Microsoft Office packages and CRM systems.
Ideally, we are looking for someone who is experienced in the International Trade field, but not essential as training will be provided.
