Job Details
Chelmsford Theatres is undergoing a major transformation, from how it operates its front of house to launching a new, ambitious programme of co-productions, talent development, outreach and outdoor events.
As part of this change, a new and exciting Casual Senior Host role has been created, working as part of a dynamic team responsible for delivering a unique customer experience to all visitors to Chelmsford City Theatres and Events.
Working in a highly creative environment, Senior Hosts will ensure the smooth running of performances taking place — paying particular attention to the comfort, safety, enjoyment and care of visitors while taking responsibility for front of house staff on duty.
This is a varied role involving welcoming customers into the building and outdoor events, being a point of information, supporting the purchase of tickets, merchandise and serving refreshments.
Candidates must have an excellent eye for detail, a passion for delivering first class customer service and a keen interest in Theatre and/or the Arts.
If you are keen to ignite a passion for Chelmsford and want to help shape its future as a great place to live and work, whilst also enhancing the Theatre’s profile as a visitor destination, then apply today.
Online assessments and interviews for this role will be held on Tuesday 18 May 2021.
