About Us:

Driving a major change in social work through the influence of teaching.

In 2016 the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea joined forces with the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham, and Westminster City Council to found the Centre for Systemic Social Work (CfSSW). Funded by the Department for Education as sector-led improvement work, the CfSSW delivers and embeds systemic practice for local authorities across London, the South West and North West. This includes teaching social workers and frontline practitioners to use systemic family therapy skills.

The Role:

This is an opportunity for a qualified systemic psychotherapist to work at the forefront of innovations in Children’s Social Care, leading and teaching a range of systemic training courses in various locations including the South West, North West and London. You’ll be backed by excellent educational resources and high-quality supervision, and will have scope to innovate, contribute to curriculum design and offer consultation and guidance to other professionals in creating system change.  Your own continuing professional development will be a priority, and you will have considerable flexibility in organising your work patterns.

About You:

Holding an MSc in Systemic Psychotherapy, you’ll have experience of teaching other professionals. Experience of working in or with Children’s Social Care contexts will be an essential requirement for successful applicants.  Positive, adaptable, and hard-working, you’ll be open to travelling for work and delivering training, consultation and clinical supervision in a variety of settings. The ability to lead from a teaching position, influencing others to develop appreciative, relational practice in Social Care settings. You’ll also be highly organised, with excellent communication and presentation skills.
