An exciting opportunity has arisen within Chelmsford City Council to join our dynamic team of Gardeners who assist with maintaining Chelmsford’s Parks & Green Spaces.
We are looking for candidates who demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and are driven to delivering excellent services for Chelmsford’s Parks & Greens Spaces.
Experience in amenity horticulture, maintaining sports pitches with expertise operating a variety of horticultural machinery, ride-on mowers, and driving vehicles with trailers is essential to the role.
The role requires candidates to hold a Full UK driving license with B+E Trailer towing entitlement.
The working pattern for this role is from Monday to Friday with seasonal working hours (10 weeks at 32 hours, 10 weeks at 42 hours and 32 weeks at 37 hours). Successful candidates will need to demonstrate flexibility as there will be a requirement to alter working patterns subject to service requirements.
