Job Details
We are currently seeking a motivated and suitably skilled individual to join the leisure services team in the role of Duty officer.
The successful candidate will work across a rota pattern that includes regular evening and weekend working and will be responsible for the operational management of a Council owned sports and leisure facility on a shift basis.
They will have good interpersonal and customer communication skills and relevant supervisory experience in a Leisure and Customer Services environment.
They will have experience of Supervising and training staff in operational procedures.
Experience of Health & Safety monitoring and reporting procedures.
A RLSS National Pool Lifeguard Qualification, Pool Plant Operator Certificate (Pools) and Level 2 Health & Fitness Certificate (or ability to achieve within 6 months) are requirements of the post.
