The Post 

The post holder will be working with funeral directors providing specialist advice and knowledge in relation to burial matters and will be maintaining burial registers and other associated documentation. The post holder will have experience of working in an administrative role with the ability to accurately take funeral bookings for cemeteries, ensuring the legal documents are obtained, completed, recorded and the registers are updated accurately. The post holder will have an understanding of the financial procedures such as raising invoices, purchase orders and balancing accounts. The post holder will have the ability to ensure payments are made and finances are recorded and reconciled.

The Person

The person will need to work effectively as a team. Be an efficient and effective administrator that is able to prioritise work in a pressured environment. Paying fine attention to detail and accuracy will be essential. The person must be a clear and effective communicator over the telephone, email or in person.The person will need to possess a caring and compassionate nature as well as being able to handle the emotional issues you may face. As the lead for administration you must have a ‘can do’ attitude and be prepared to take ownership of issues and have the ability to lead on any task given.
