We have an exciting opportunity for a Principal Business Analyst within Digital Services.

You will be responsible for all investigative work relating to onboarding new services to the Council’s Dynamics 365 Platform and play a significant role in helping our business teams to deliver excellent services that deliver real value to our organisation and to our customers.

You will be an integral part of our software development team and will champion our Lean and Agile processes.  You  will be a great communicator and will have the ability to gain support from our business customer into potential solutions. 

As the Principal Business Analyst, you will be responsible for all business analysis processes relating to the analysis and presentation of user stories within the software development lifecycle and for the mentoring and training of all business analysts within Digital Services.  Therefore, you will have excellent problem solving and communication skills and a customer orientated approach.

Skills and experience required:

  • Demonstrable experience working as an IT Business Analyst
  • Mentoring and training experience
  • Experience of working within a Software Development environment
  • Agile/Scrum and comfortable with working to two weekly sprints
  • Any knowledge or experience of working with MS Dynamics 365 is highly desirable
  • Experience of working with Microsoft products
