You will drive a vehicle up to 7.5 tonnes Gross Vehicle Weight and load refuse, recyclable and bulky waste and be responsible for the vehicle and where appropriate a small team of Refuse Loaders to provide an efficient and effective refuse collection and recycling service.

You must hold a Driving Licence category C1 or above, have knowledge of the legislation and regulations relating to driving and an awareness of Health & Safety legislation and its application in the workplace.

You will have recent experience of driving large vehicles up to 7.5 tonnes Gross Vehicle Weight on a regular basis and of carrying out vehicle checks. You must be able to cope with the regular high level of physical demands.
