Wirral Council is seeking enthusiastic applicants for new roles in its Network Management team, which is part of the Council's Highways & Infrastructure service, in Neighbourhoods directorate.

There are 2 roles available and each role will be pivotal to the Council in delivering statutory duties which fall under key legislation and policy headings including the Network Management Duty, Traffic Management Act 2004, Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and Combined Authority Transport Plan. 

In the Network Management team an essential aspect of the role will be to project manage, implement and monitor traffic management projects. We are looking for somebody with excellent technical knowledge and professional experience of various traffic management legislation and regulations and experience in dealing with contractors, Members, the general public and other external stakeholders. 

The post holders will have knowledge in the use of design and drawing software for the preparation of designs and procurement documentation and knowledge and delivery of Health and Safety legislation and CDM regulations.
