As our Strategic Director for Growth, you’ll join a team that’s transforming to support an evolving place and community.

We want South Kesteven to be a great place to live and work. You’ll make sure that’s the case by leading economic development and managing Planning, Leisure and Cultural Services. It’s a chance to explore growth opportunities and make them happen through innovative partnerships. With influence over everything from Regeneration to Arts and Festivals, you’ll have an exciting and varied remit that spans numerous areas.

The key is to make sure growth helps local people, whether it’s through employment, housing or leisure. As a key member of the leadership team, you’ll work with Members, partners and teams Council-wide to bring tangible benefits. Meanwhile, you’ll be leading strategic projects, implementing economic development strategy and advising at senior levels. And all while raising South Kesteven’s profile and exploring commercial opportunities. 

Degree-educated (or equivalent), you’ll be a skilled and resourceful leader, and a Chartered Town Planner. You’re up to speed with planning policy and used to working with landowners, developers, businesses and investors. You’re also used to managing sizeable budgets and large, multi-functional teams. Determined, positive and resilient, you’ll think strategically to realise South Kesteven’s full potential.
