The Business Intelligence Hub is looking to recruit talented and enthusiastic individuals to work in our team.

About the team:

The team works with every department in the City of York Council to ensure statutory data returns are submitted in a timely and accurate manner.  The team is also responsible for advising colleagues on the best way to interpret and use data.

About the role:

  • Experience of using education or public health data is essential as activities are likely to be in this area
  • Support the production of regular performance data, covering the council plan and services and inform the council plan.
  • Assist the collection, collation and submission of a range of thematic datasets in order to meet a number of statutory government returns.

The post holder will be working in a fast-paced team that deals with a range of information linked to residents of York, children, vulnerable adults and economic growth.

Due to the nature of the role, high levels of confidentiality will be expected at all times.
