Job Details

Camden is listening to everyone, including you. We’re giving a platform to people inside and outside our community. Because, we’re not just home to the UK’s fast-growing economy. We’re home to the most important conversations happening today. And we’re making radical social change a reality, so that nobody gets left behind. As a Social Worker within either CIN (Children In Need), BIT (Brief Intervention Team) or MASH (Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub), you’ll help create a better future for our borough’s young people by putting them at the heart of everything we do.

As a Social Worker within one of these services, you will hold a varied caseload, undertaking the role of care coordinator for those with complex mental health needs along with providing specific interventions.  You will be expected to manage your own workload and resources. You will undertake assessments of risk, needs and capacity and respond appropriately to support the service users.  You will have the skills to respond to unexpected events and crisis and have the ability to recognise signs of harm, abuse and neglect and how to manage these issues.

Camden is not only a great place to work but additionally Camden’s leadership and Management were described as ‘outstanding’ by Ofsted.

We’re ready to welcome your ideas, your views, and your rebellious spirit. Help us redefine how we’re supporting people, and we’ll redefine what a career can be. If that sounds good to you, we’d love to talk.

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and will require an Enhanced DBS.
