Internal (Street Services) 6-Month Secondment
Fleet Monitoring Officer (Grade SO1)
35 hours per week
An opportunity has arisen in the Fleet & Waste Strategy Team for a Fleet Monitoring Officer on a 6-month secondment. You will be responsible for a range of varied and challenging duties including assisting with exercising control over the transport activities of the Council, undertaking checks and inspections to ensure transport law compliance, mediating between the Fleet Maintenance Provider and Council departments, and assisting with investigations and complaints.
You must:
- Hold a clean and current EU HGV Licence to a minimum of Category C
- Have experience in a management support background within a fleet environment
- Be flexible and work on own initiative to meet a range of deadlines
- Have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to communicate assertively and effectively
- Demonstrate a positive attitude towards your colleagues and can-do attitude towards the task given at all times
You will work a 35-hour week, but a degree of flexibility is essential.
