Reporting into the Director of Place, you will be responsible for managing the development and delivery of development management, strategic planning, strategic transport and public protection services. You will be a qualified Planner with a track record in developing effective partnerships with the public, private, voluntary and community sectors to ensure we successfully deliver services which are sensitive to local concerns and aspirations while aligning with the strategic objectives of the Council.

Above all else, you will ensure that the voices of Thurrock’s residents and businesses are heard, and that the borough’s place agenda is successfully delivered and remains ambitious for its future.
