The role

We are looking for a Highways Engineer to join our Development and Network Management team to provide detailed and technical expert highway advice in relation to adoptions and development management. Milton Keynes is a significant growth area and you’ll play a key part in the planning, development and management of highways works schemes.

You will also ensure that the highway and transportation networks in Milton Keynes are able to support growth and economic development of the borough.

You will provide support, technical expertise and advice to both internal and external parties on a wide range of highway and transportation issues related to development and proposed highway improvements on the existing network. 

You’ll support the Senior Engineer and Senior Management to give professional technical advice to elected members, internal colleagues and other relevant organisations and businesses.
