The role

We are looking for a Senior Engineer to work within our Development Management Team.

Milton Keynes is a significant growth area and our network is expanding each year. Our Development Management Team play an important role in this providing help and expertise to elected members and colleagues in the council.

As an experienced engineer you will manage the work of the professional staff in the Development Management (Highways) team whose primary function is to provide detailed and technical expert highway advice to the wider Development and Network Team. 

You’ll ensure that the highway and transportation networks in Milton Keynes are able to support the growth and economic development of the borough.

As a key member of the team, you’ll also bring your detailed and technical highway expertise to advise on a wide range of highway and transportation issues related to development proposals.
