Up to £42,336 (Inclusive of London Fringe Weighting and Lease Car Allowance)

Permanent - 37 Hours Full Time.

In addition to package above, the Council will pay your CIEH membership fees and provide an individual subscription to ABC food law to assist meeting your CPD requirements.

We are seeking to appoint two qualified Environmental Health Officers to work within our Environmental Health Team, predominately covering the regulatory areas of food hygiene and health & safety. Applications will be considered from those nearing the completion of their qualification. 

As the successful candidate you must have a positive attitude to change and be keen to work in a busy team.

Dacorum Borough Council has been involved high profile enforcement cases such as prohibiting the sale of raw placenta smoothies, a successful prosecution of a large supermarket chain, in additional to regular prosecutions for food hygiene, health & safety, and animal welfare offences.

The Council will also consider applications from candidates that hold the Higher Certificate in Food Premises inspections that are EHORB registered and meet the requirements of the Food Law Code of Practice.

A check will be undertaken with the Disclosure and Barring Service to ensure that the successful candidate for the above post has no relevant convictions.
