This is an exciting opportunity for an energetic and motivated individual to drive forward transport policy to support the growth agenda. At present we are at a crucial time in the development of our Local Plan. You will play a lead role - working in partnership with others - in developing, seeking funding for and implementing transport strategy and projects. You will play the lead role in supervising and developing projects. You must have relevant experience of working in transport policy and have a relevant degree. You must also be able to communicate well, both orally and in writing, analyse information in a clear and logical manner and meet priorities and deadlines. You should also be able to work well as a team member and individually with minimum supervision, be enthusiastic, be able to supervise and motivate others, and have good IT skills.
