On top of a degree in a relevant subject, or a proven track record in surface water management, you'll need:
* Expert knowledge in surface water flood risk, including Flood Risk Management, Land Drainage and Asset Management, plus an understanding of the responsibilities of the Lead Local Flood Authority
* Excellent communication skills including preparing and presenting clear reports and consultations
* Proven ability to create and manage effective, collaborative multi-agency partnerships with the public and private sector
