We have an exciting opportunity available for a Communications Manager to manage our North London Heat and Power Project (NLHPP) communications.
In this role you will be responsible for providing communications and administrative support to enable the successful delivery of activities needed for the successful delivery of the NLHPP, and in doing so will work closely both with the members of the project team and with the corporate communications team. You will be responsible for managing the engagement with the community, in particular through attendance at local resident groups. You will work with the Authority’s advisers on communications, and manage their work.
The right individual will have a communications/marketing qualification. You will have experience of providing administrative or communications support in a busy environment. You will have good attention to detail and excellent organisational skills as you will often have to manage a busy and varied workload.
You will have knowledge of MS Office and knowledge of social media channels, including Twitter, Instagram and Facebook. The individual will also have an innovative and creative approach to problem solving.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills and the ability to build relationships with different people is a MUST.
Degree level qualification or equivalent in a relevant field is required. Experience of working on projects to deliver measurable outcomes and of writing for different target audiences is desirable.
