The Post

Brent Council's Pest Control and Hygiene service continues to attract new commercial contracts throughout Brent and the surrounding areas. We now need a senior officer to drive forward our commercial service and grow further business. Supporting the pest control commercial team and Pest Control and Hygiene Manager in the daily tasks, as well and longer term planning.

We are looking for a pest control officer that bring additional expertise to the team and support the manager in developing and supporting our clients.

As well as the commercial business the post will also support the domestic team and hygiene service.

Working in a high pressure high demand area the post will need to have detailed knowledge of the commercial drivers, price points and what makes a quality pest control service.

The Person

You will need to be a self-starter and have a 'can do approach' to service delivery and problem solving. You must be able to resolve complex pest control issues and understand business requirements in a range of commercial uses, including medical, food, warehousing and retail.

The person will need to have skills in people and client management, being able to prioritise and manage demand. It is expected the person will have proven experience in securing commercial contracts and understand marketing and sales in pest control and hygiene environment.

As a member of the team the person will be an expert in your field and able to demonstrate a detailed knowledge of current and emerging pest control treatment and prevention techniques.
