Camden is looking to recruit an enthusiastic, passionate and experienced Service Manager to work in Safeguarding and Quality Assurance where you will take operational management responsibility for the LADO role and the Independent Reviewing Officers (Child Protection) and an area of development work.

This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference for Children and Young People and their families in Camden by further developing the Quality Assurance Service. You will help ensure we realise Camden’s vision of providing an exceptional service where children and young people are the centre of everything we do!

You will be joining a Leadership and Management team here at Camden, which has been described by Ofsted as “outstanding”. On top of this you will benefit from our unique Camden model of Social work, our collaborative work with the Department of Education as Partners in Practise, and our innovation fund project “Right Balance for Families”.

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and will require an Enhanced DBS.

To be considered for this post it is essential the successful candidate is a fully qualified, accredited Social Worker registered with the HCPC alongside a Leadership/Management qualification such as ILM Level 4 or 5 and/or experience of supervising teams.

The successful candidate will have previous demonstrable experience in working with vulnerable children, young people and their families in the field of social care or other field related to social deprivation. This must be coupled with extensive experience of managing teams in the delivery of a range of intervention and support services to vulnerable children and young people.
