Job Details

We’re seeking an intelligent and future focused Senior Business Analyst to join Camden’s ICT service. Working as a Senior Business Analyst you will be leading on creating requirements specifications and business cases using natural language for development or acquisition of ICT Solutions; you’ll analyse business processes, identify alternative solutions, assess feasibility, and recommend new approaches.

This role is all about being able to apply business and analysis skills working in partnership with multi-disciplinary programme teams and subject matter experts to drive out further efficiencies and costs. You’ll be responsible for driving and challenging service departments on their assumptions of how they will successfully execute their plans by communicating proactively and collaborating with the Service department, in-house development and solutions providers.

You’ll also plan, arrange and facilitate meetings and workshops with stakeholders throughout the business change and software development lifecycles and advise senior stakeholders on business change priorities within the context of the organisational strategy and objectives

To be successful in this role, you’ll have BSc in a relevant discipline, or equivalent industry experience. You will be proficient in techniques for analysing and re-designing business processes which have been modelled.

The ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with members of the public, business representatives, contractors and Council members, including presenting business cases and statements for work both verbally and in writing. As is your strong influencing skills, as you will be required to engage and influence decision making by building rapport with staff at all levels.

You will proactively conduct accurate fieldwork, carrying out relevant written and statistical analysis on findings and making insightful observations, delivering concise briefings, considering the needs of multiple stakeholders. The ability to work using your own initiative, managing conflicting priorities, meeting deadlines, targets and agreed work standards is essential.
