Technical Assistant - Northallerton
Do you want to join a busy team of transport planners and engineers working on a wide range of exciting and high profile transport projects across North Yorkshire? Would you like to develop your technical skills to support a range of teams delivering these projects?
This is an exciting opportunity for someone interested in a career in transport and engineering to further develop their GIS, autocad and other technical skills and get involved in improving transport in North Yorkshire.
Based in the Transport Planning Team at County Hall in Northallerton you would also have the opportunity to support traffic engineering, transport and development and highway asset management teams amongst others. Working on projects ranging from £100m relief roads to assessing minor highway maintenance schemes the wide range of roles will give you the opportunity to develop a wide range of skill which would be invaluable in furthering your career.

An excellent candidate would have relevant qualifications and experience, or would have the desire and ambition to progress and develop themselves in an exciting career. Excellent communication, problem solving and negotiation skills are a prerequisite.
