Based in the Strategic Planning & Transportation Team in the Council’s Regeneration & Economy Directorate, the post holders will be part of a team developing transport policy encompassing all modes of travel, preparing preliminary designs of highway improvements and other transport schemes including cycling measures, dealing with Public Rights of Way matters, and providing transportation advice to developers.

Applicants should hold an appropriate qualification, preferably to degree level, and have knowledge of transportation issues. Experience in the use of AutoCad would be an advantage.
